National Youth League: Semi-Final One, Two, in Three 13/03/2010
Central Coast 1 - Gold Coast 3
Gold Coast come from fourth place to jump Premiers Central Coast Mariners with a 3-1 win, that started with 2 goals within 3 minutes. The flat and stunned young Mariners never really recovered despite the rest of the game being much more even. The Gold Coast's opponents in Melbourne next Saturday will be 2nd placed Perth Glory who defeated Adelaide United 1-0 at home on Sunday.

 'ACL tie a game too far' - Just two days after gaining a place in the A-League Grand Final Melbourne Victory hosted Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma of South Korea in an ACF Champions League tie and, though it was a closely matched performance, they went down 0-2 with tired legs at Docklands in front of just under 8,000 fans .. 06/03/2010: The Qantas Matildas defeated DPR Korea 3-2 in a tough international 'friendly' on Saturday 6 March at a wet Ballymore Stadium, Brisbane. Twice the Australian's lead was closed by the temperamental Koreans but some magic in stoppage time of the game saw Kyah Simon score an audacious goal.

National Youth League: Round 27 Mariners are NYL 2010 Premiers 06/03/2010
Central Coast 0 - Sydney FC 0
Central Coast Mariners drew with Sydney FC in a close fought game at Pluim Park, Lisarow on Saturday 6 March, but had to wait for Newcastle Jets to beat Perth Glory 2-3 in Perth to claim the premiership by one point. Adelaide drew with Gold Coast so the finals teams are Central Coast, Perth Glory, Adelaide, and Gold Coast. Sydney missed on goal difference.
