Prior to the Pre-Season Cup kicking off our team of HAL writers at BOTN (across Australia and NZ) were asked to lock in their predictions for the season. They were asked to give each of the eleven teams in this year's A-League competition a final position placing after the 27 rounds, from 1st to 11th!

Our team picked all over the shop, but with - Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC way ahead of the pack - Glory are the dark horse, Heart have done well for a new club whilst Gold Coast have slipped - the return to the HAL of Graham Arnold isn't given a tick - and no-one loved poor old Fury!

On a consolidated basis we predicted that the end of season table might be:
