Melbourne Heart 0 - Newcastle Jets 2  In varying conditions with the majority of the match played in showery weather, the Jets unbeaten streak has extended to six games, with Branko Culina’s side reaching the Top six for the first time this season after defeating the Melbourne Heart 2-0. Wellington Phoenix 2 - Adelaide U 1  Wellington Phoenix scored their first come-from-behind victory of the season at AMI Stadium on December 5, Christchurch native Ben Sigmund setting up the equaliser and scoring a dramatic winner as the local side downed ten-man Adelaide United 2-1, much to the delight of the 14,108 fans present - Wellington’s biggest crowd of the season by some distance .. Melbourne Heart 0 - Sydney 0  On a soggy Saturday night on State Election night, Sydney FC has taken a point away from the Melbourne Heart with a Nil-all score line. The Melbourne Heart has gone 349 minutes without scoring a goal, and are winless in the last 4 matches. 05/11/2010: The Qantas Joeys have qualified for the U17 world cup in Mexico next year after topping group C of the AFC U-16 Championship, and then coming from behind in a close fought game to defeat the UAE 3-2 in extra time of a AFC Championship Quarter Final. They however lost 1-2 to host Uzbekistan in a Semi-Final last night.
Women's Football:  The FFA today launched season three of the 'Westfield W-League' which comprises teams branded with each of six of the ten Australian Hyundai A-League clubs, plus one club from Canberra (Canberra United). It will start this weekend, with the game from Brisbane broadcast at 3pm Saturday on ABC TV1.
