Perth Glory have come back from being two goals down to beat Melbourne Heart four goals to three at John Cain Memorial Park today.

Heart would dominate the majority of the day, however their defense faltered numerous times late in the game to give the Glory all three points.

Heart started strongly with their first chance of the game thanks to some great passing play in the second minute.

Stipo Andrijasevic heading the ball down to Brodie Patterson outside the box, feeding the ball wide to Adrian Zahra who was in space. However Zahra failed to beat Neil Young in goal.

Three minutes later Kamal Ibrahim managed to beat two defenders outside the box but again Young managed to deal with the shot comfortably.

Then in the 11th minute Heart's pressure began to pay dividends after captain Dusan Bosnjak dribbled through the Glory defense, past four men, and comfortably slotted the ball past Young into the bottom right corner of the net.

Only two minutes later Perth Glory drew even after a slip up in defense by Billy Liolios gave Slobodan Vulin the ball on the left side of the box. Vulin blasted the ball in what could have been either a shot or a cross which ended up catching a deflection from Treloar and going in.

Then in the 19th minute Heart had a chance to reclaim the lead. A Brodie Patterson free kick found Ibrahim in the box who headed the ball down to Andrijasevic in front of the keeper. However his shot was too weak to trouble Young.

A minute later Andrijasevic had another opportunity from inside the box in a similar opportunity but again his shot failed to impress.

In the 25th minute Heart earned a penalty after Clayton Arnez's tackle on Jeremy Walker in the box was deemed illegal. Bosnjak made no mistake from the spot-kick and doubled Heart's lead in the 26th minute. Heart continued to dominate play. Just a minute after scoring, Walker crossed the ball into the box finding Adrijasevic whose glancing header beat Young comfortably but was denied by the crossbar.

Things just got better for the home team. In the 28th minute Perth's defense was again troubled by an aerial ball into the box, this time finding Walker who had beaten the offside trap. Walker made no mistake from close range and comfortably finished.

The game entered a lull for a while with a sole piece of magic from Ibrahim beating four players in the midfield being the only piece of interest.

Then just before half-time Heart had two chances. The first in the 42nd minute when Adrian Zahra crossed the ball into the box, beating the Glory defense but failing to find a Heart player.

A minute later Bradley Taylor ran through the Glory defense and shot low from range, however the ball went straight at Young who comfortably saved it.

Glory had their first opportunity of the second half in the 51st minute. A scramble in the box gave Ndumba Makeche the chance to take a shot from close range. However it took a deflection and went over the goal, not troubling Roganovic.

While Glory gained more control over the game their chemistry up front was lacking, with a number of promising build ups failing to become chances due to mistimed passes or runs.

But in the 63rd minute Glory pulled one back after a spectacular free kick by Jack Clisby. He managed to curl the ball into the top right corner from well outside the box.

Then just a minute later Heart had their first real opportunity of the second have with Craig Goodwin taking a power shot from the left side of the box. However Young denied with a brilliant save.

In the 80th minute Heart had another opportunity after Brodie Patterson's free kick almost found Kristian Konstantindis in the box. However Young managed to punch the ball away.

Against the run of play Glory somehow managed to equalize in the 85th minute with Makeche simply strolling through Hearts defense and slipping the ball past Roganovic.

A disappointing last minute draw seemed to be on the cards for Heart but things were about to get worse.

Heart's defense faltered again just seven minutes later with Makeche again easily getting behind the defense before passing to Clayton Arnez who finished into an open goal.

A corner in the fourth minute of extra time almost gave Heart an equalizer after a scramble in the box saw Kristian Konstantinidis head the ball past Young.

However he was deemed offside capping off what would be a poor last 10 minutes for the side and disappointing day for the side.
