Gold Coast has scored two late goals to steal the points against Melbourne Victory 2-1 at AAMI Park on Sunday.

The game started off quite slow with neither side creating any chances inside the 24 minutes before Melvin Becket stole the ball off a Gold Coast defender. The ball then fell for Luke O'Dea who finished superbly from the edge of the box to open the scoring.

The rest of the first-half didn't live up to much and with neither side creating many chances. However Melvin Becket and Jake Barker-Daish did try some audacious efforts which went well over.

Right on the stroke of half-time Daniel Severino had an opportunity to open the scoring buy he smashed the crossbar from 25 yards. But It stayed nil-all at half-time.

Three minutes into the second-half Daniel Bragg's long attempt travelled over with 'keeper Keegan Coulter off his line.

On 57 minutes Chris Lucas was next to test Coulter in goal with a snap shot but it strickled wide.

Six minutes later Zachary Anderson put his header wide. It was a brilliant chance after a great Daniel Severino corner.

On 65 minutes Luke O'Dea tried to earn himself a brace as his right footed shot was saved by 'keeper Brendan White.

Daniel Bowles then had a chance to equalise on 76 minutes but his volley was put wide.

Four minutes later Daniel Severino scored a stunning equaliser with a brilliant free-kick which curled into the top corner.

The fight back was on for Gold Coast as they pushed numbers forward and scored the winner just before stoppage time with Severino's free-kick which was flicked in by Daniel Bowles.

Melbourne Victory remains winless, pointless and bottom of the table.
