The Season fixtures draw for the Westfield W-League has been released. Season 5 sees a grand final rematch on the first weekend, on Saturday 20th October, 2012 in Canberra. After 12 rounds plus two weeks of finals football the Final will be held on 27 January, 2013. Chris Dunkerley reports

25/06/2012: Western Sydney Wanderers FC was today officially unveiled as the Hyundai A-League’s newest club at a media launch at Parramatta Stadium. The first three player signings, Aaron Mooy, Tarek Elrich and Kwabena Appiah-Kubi, were revealed, wearing Nike red and black hoop jerseys with white shorts and black socks. One of the first ever game of football played in New South Wales on 3 August 1880 between the King’s School and the Wanderers just across the road from what is now Parramatta Stadium.
