Waratah Cup NSW 2014

Waratah-CupAll NSW senior Association teams were invited to participate in the 2014 Waratah Cup competition, with a maximum of 55 positions available to grassroots Clubs of Football NSW Associations.

Entry was compulsory for the 1st Grade of the IGA NPL NSW Mens 1, SUPA IGA NPL NSW Mens 2, Mens State Leagues 1 and Mens State Leagues 2.

The Waratah Cup is a great opportunity for all local clubs to test their ability against higher division teams and to compete for substantial prize money.

This year the Waratah Cup will be the qualification route to the 2014 FFA Cup, a national knockout competition that includes teams from association and state level, National Premier Leagues, right through to the Hyundai A-League.

Over 100 clubs will feature in this year’s Waratah Cup, including the 55 Association clubs who battled it out in the first round of football which took place over the first weekend in March.

This season’s Waratah Cup kicked off in earnest at the early time of 11:30am on Saturday, March 15, 2014 – with Loftus Yarrawarrah Rovers FC meeting Revesby Workers Football Club at NSW football headquarters, Valentine Sports Park.
